Welcome to our 10th anniversary Music Festival.
You may have been coming over the years, and you will have seen how we have grown in terms of audience and bands and fun to be had. We are still strong and free despite complicated legislations and ever increasing prices. Huge thanks to our main sponsor, Keynsham Town Council, without whom, there would be no Keynsham Music Festival, all our other sponsors, our wonderful troupe of volunteers, all the fantastic bands who bring such dynamic energy and talent to our town, and of course, you, our audience, who vote with their feet by coming every year, and continue to give generously to our bucket shakers.
The Keynsham Music Festival is unique in as much as it is true to it’s community roots, giving voice to Keynsham amateur groups as well as local charities, and community organisations who network and fundraise, all of which feeds straight back into Keynsham. It is also a vibrant, quality music festival, showcasing some of the best bands in the area with a healthy dash of local artists displaying and sharing their skills.
Our slogan for this year’s festival is Local and Fair. We support local artists, local traders, local food supplies, local community groups. And if we cant be local… then lets be Fair. One of our main sponsors this year is FairTrade who will be based down by the river. We will be highlighting FairTrade issues, inviting FairTrade artists to perform and speak and encouraging all participants to bring with them a FairTrade awareness and use either local or FairTrade products wherever possible.
Please respect the park and all the volunteers…., throw your litter away in the bins provided, and dispose of all recyclable materials in the recycle bins.
